Sometimes I write words down, such as I just did with 'flies', and it seems ridiculous to me! Should it be flys? That doesn't seem right either. No wonder people find the English language so frustrating!
On with the point, I can't believe I met Smit almost a year ago! We haven't really been keeping track of our anniversaries or anything but I just thought about it and we met last August, which is fastly creeping on me! I'm trying to think that summer hasn't really started yet because so far my sumer has been very un-summery. With a combination of terrible weather, being a full-time student, having to watch two houses, and volunteering with three different organizations I've barely had time to have a social life! Although on Saturday some of my faves came up for a birthday bbq and we had a lovely night <3.
Me & Smitty are going to Ottawa/Montreal in about a month which I'm JACKED about because I get to see Richard, Lenore & Nicola :D As well as go to a sick music festival! However, the timing could not possibly be worse. I didn't know this beforehand but that entire week is one of SIFE's biggest projects - 'based in business', it's going to be a crazy week that I should be here for but alas, I am not. As well, it's a week before finals. (I know, I'm an idiot). On the bright side, I've been studying my fucking ass all summer and it's been paying off. (OH HAY 90's, i kinda love you, please don't go!) Everything is booked and done so I can't really see me not going at this point, c'est la vie!
Right now though the sun is shining (in Flatrock anyways) so I shouldn't be here bitching about the weather! I'm going to go on a walk with Lemon & Motor : ) Flatrock swimming soon anyone?
